done and dusted.

literally dusted. nearly all of my camping gear (and myself at certain points of the shift) were covered in dust from the desert. i spent my last shift of work on logistics – transporting students, delivering water to groups, cleaning bathrooms, and much more. it was fun. i especially like driving the trucks around on the “roads” in the desert. i was able to spend several hours in group 9, the student group that i have been working in for the past five months. it was neat being able to say good-bye to them.

i’m off to california for a wedding this weekend (fellow wheatie) then mom arrives in salt lake city on monday, after which we will do some good ol’ epxloring in utah before heading back to the land of lincoln.
